Off Kilter is a super energetic group of guys. Jamie one of the lead singer never stops moving while he's playing the bagpipes.

This group is so special that they play for the Epcot Center at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Here are some pictures from Dunedin Festival

Mac, I'll be mailing you a CD soon that they gave to me to add to CR. I just wrote them a thank you letter, and asked if they'd be interested in sending more of their CD's along. smile.gif

I love Off Kilter! Unfortunately, after writing a few times on their site, we never received a response. Would love to get their music on the broadcast.

Saw them last year at the Canadian pavillon in Epcot. The MacArthur clan just all came down in the front and sat on the pavement to get a good view. Although I think they got a little frustrated with my wife as she was adjusting the camera and they kept on posing, but she didnt know they were posing...went something like this......

camera up, wife adjusting......Off Kilter poses....camera down.....Off Kilter relaxes.....

This went on for about 3 times and finally the band member gave me a look like....uh???

I was just visiting Epcot and Off Kilter is still playing there!

They are really fun to watch and me and my husband - who isn't a celtic music fan - liked them very much.

Even got to take a few nice shots.

Yes, I just heard from some friends who enjoyed their Epcot show very much! Apparently they are pretty much a staple with the Canadian Pavilion. We saw them in 2003 and enjoyed their show very much.

Funny story; my wife (Killian) was trying to get a picture of them and every time she lifted the camera the group would move together and pose - then she was having trouble with the camera so this went on like 3 or 4 times. It was kinda comical but we got the picture!

I've had the chance to see them perform a handful of times when they've been up here for the Milwaukee Irish Fest. They area a wonderful group. Paul, I think we need to get a couple more of their albums on the playlist. wink.gif

Oh and they are definately NOT camera shy. cool.gif

I was just thinking the same thing! (more music from off-kilter). Maybe I will do a review of them and then write them for more CDs!

As a photographer I can soooooooo relate to what Killian went through. Sometimes the ole camera will not cooperate and it is so embarrassing.

when I first saw the name "Off Kilter" I immediately thought of a another band who titled their CD as such. I lisented to this band and really loved them.

Thanks!
