There is also a fair held in Hebron CT: www.ctfaire.com
Living in NC, I've attended the fair in Charlotte for the past three years. Someday I might have enough confidence to go costumed and take part in the role playing, but for now I am an active observer of the revelry! I am glad to hear there are so many festivals in other states. Keep a good thing going!

Any other descendents of George McNeill of Prince Edward Island? He was the grandfather of Lucy Maud Montgomery, author of Anne of Green Gables.

A snack of vanilla yogurt with fresh strawberries and banana. Y'all have made me very hungry. One hour til quittin time and now the bean soup I planned for dinner seems a little inadequate.

My daughter tells me Ben & Jerry's makes an ice cream with Guiness. Anyone heard of it or tried it?

I cannot offer help with your translation, but your post intrigues me....."for this I bleed myself dry". A very powerful quote. Where is it from?

I'm a fan! Beautiful voices, beautiful music. Thanks for the new forum info. Too bad they're not coming to North Carolina. Guess I'll have to wait for the PBS airing.

While driving to work this morning, I spied a CelticRadio.net bumper sticker on the car in front of me. I was intrigued and jumped on the net as soon as I could. Mere hours later, here I am exploring all things celtic. Glad to have found you all!
