Celtic Radio Community > Ye Ole Celtic Pub - Open all day, all night! > Happy St. Pat's From The Indulgers

Have a very safe day and remember to
do at least one thing tomorrow.
WAKE UP, hangover or not.
Colorado is awash with events of the green kind,
but big and small, mad and even completely against the grain.
I even noted a few Anti-St. Patrick's Day shindigs.

The Fado Irish Pub hosts the most amazing event,
likely up to 10,000 people, Guinness gig rigs, two
tents taking up parking lots and all sorts of music
including ourselves, two shows, one for the family
style part of the day at 2:30pm and then the annual
mayhem 9pm till curfew, which is 10:59 in Denver
outdoors, we usually try to break the law by at least 1 second.
The Denver parade ends by Fado. Getting there requires
going down alleys and crossed the parade route twice,
tricky enough.

Boulder has a big bash too, behind Conor O'Neills.

The Irish community in Denver will take a minute to
remember one of our local greats, Mr Tom Conville,
born in Boston Mass. and long the champion of Irish culture
in Colorado. Tom was buried this week after 75 years
of almighty craic. A founding member of the Colorado
United Irish Society and many other Irish clubs and
the only owner of an Irish pub back in the eighties in
the Denver area as far as I know.
RIP - A great man

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S.
