Actually, I have been buying several CDs lately but wanted to share.

My one current is "Almost an Island" by Wolfstone! Wonderful CD and I highly recommend it.

I also bought the soundtrack from the movie, "The Alamo." Really beautiful music.

Anybody bought any new CDs lately that they would like to share?

I have recently purchesed several CD,s and am looking forward to receiving in the next several day. But last night I had the great privalage of hearing live Bruce Davies......WOW he was really fantastic...purchesed 4 more cds and would travel to hear him again...he hails form Scotland.....the accent is wounderful and makes his stories even more authentic. If you have not gotten to hear him please do so your ears will be smiling as a friend of mine says. Bruce's web sight is brucedavies.com. good preformer.
Anothr preformer Ihave descovered is Mack Bailey. His is folk music and he is a tennor.... he was great as well. mack's web sight is mackbaliey.com

I just picked up the new Moya Brennan "Two Horizons" and also 2 Natalie McMasters. I saw Natalie in concert Thursday night, here in New Jersey. If you get a chance to see her, you will have the best time. She can get you twitchin' in your seat. She's also very funny and loves talking with the crowd. Natalie has some really terrific musicians backing her up.

A CD I purchased recently is AN RAICÍN ÁLAINN, by Lasairfhíona Ní Chonaola.

Well worth a listen for those interested in pure Gaelic singing.

Sounds like some great music! Have to point MacFive over here about getting some more of this on Highlander Radio! biggrin.gif I've already added Moya Brennan's "Two Horizons" to my to-buy list.

Also, is it just me or does something not sit well with her phonetisized name? Seeing it, I keep thinking of the ship from Farscape. I liked reading the Gaelic spelling, so much more biggrin.gif I'm sure I'd be the same way about Enya too, had I the chance to get used to it

Mike! I have a friend who saw Natalie MacMaster's in concert a few weeks ago. She said it was one of the best she attended!

Well, I just bought a new CD from our only own Barrdas! Wow! What a great CD! I have listened to it about 6 times already. It is really good and both are excellent singers and terrific musicians! I can't wait for their new CD. Not sure when that is coming out. I bet they are wonderful to see LIVE too!
