Celtic Thunder's latest CD is a beautifully album with alot of great songs. Somewhere Over the Rainbow is just incredible. Really enjoyed Seven Drunken Nights alot! It will definitely put a smile on your face!! Make sure to pick up a copy from the Celtic Thunder website now!!!
Definitely looking forward to this album! Heard some of the new songs in December at their winter concert, and I can't wait to hear them again! I started nameng the songs I liked and nearly listed the whole album! "Galway Girl" is a great one
Really is the best Celtic Thunder album yet!!! The lads' voices mesh together better with each passing year.
Miss Paul, Phil and Damian's contributions to the album (though Damo left us with a gorgeous goodbye in his cover of "Falling Slowly" on "Voyage"), but so happy to see Guitar God Neil Byrne step up front as a leading lad, and a big welcome to Emmet Cahill. Daniel Furlong's guest vocals on "Voyage" are just beautiful; we are gonna see great things from this wee lad in the years to come -- aside from his great voice, he has the sweetest personality.
Can't pick my fave song from the new album... each track is perfect in its own right. But if you have never heard Celtic Thunder's music before, this is THE album that will make you a fan. Its varied track list makes it a great gift for everyone.
Be sure to check out "Voyage" on your local PBS station over the coming weeks and get the "Voyage" DVD for additional songs not on the album.
We received our CD and DVD yesterday in the mail. It is the best so far. It brings back great memories from the show we saw in October. We had it playing on the TV and computer all night. We are just waiting for the tickets to go on sale for the November 2012 show. It has turned into a family tradition now. The only thing I wish is that they had put 7 drunken nights on the DVD. You miss a lot of the song if you haven't seen it live.
Saw the new Celtic Thunder program ' Voyage' over the weekend. Loved it soooooooooooo much, that I wached it twice. My favorite parts were when Keith Harkin & Daniel Furlong sang " You've Got A Friend In Me" & when Ryan Kelly sang " Friend's In Low Places" by Garth Brooks. This one is the best one yet guys. WAY TO GO GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved "Voyage" dvd, although I don't remember hearing Ryan sing "Friends in Low Places. I really missed seeing the guys performing "Ireland's Call" on stage instead of just hearing them sing it. I miss seeing the reactions between Paul (who left) and Damian (oh, i sure do miss him with his Thunder brothers. Also, Paul and Ryan, arguing over the girl who Ryan won in the end. Great showmanship between the 2 lads! Emmett did well with his songs, as did Daniel!
I received my DVD, love it,I am still waiting for my CD.I did not know some of the songs are different , than what is on the DVD..I still love all the songs. Ryan did a great job on Garth Brooks song, saw the show in San Diego, awesome show under the stars.//
Another stream of beautiful music by a group of fantastic people.Voyage has not failed to please me but I find it hard to choose favorites because the talent on the CD's and DVD's makes that impossible. As a fan from the beginning I've watched a few grow and move on but still it's like waiting to open a present at Christmas when a new DVD hits ..it truly is a pleasure to both watch and listen.Voyage is the best one yet but I say that about every one that comes out...Emmet and Daniel are icing on a cake that was already delicious......waiting for the live show and the second half in the fall...
Love, love, love this new show!!! The only thing "wrong" with it was the end - we could only hear "Ireland's Call". I could have watched the credits while I watched the lads! Can't pick a favorite!!! We are having a CELTIC THUNDER party on St. Patrick's Day and will be viewing "Voyage" with our friends!
