I'll take that shamrock and press it in a good book. Thanks.

Throws a coaster to the next poster (can you tell we were discussing poetry and rhyme schemes tonight?) And, what the heck, how about a toaster, too?

"If a man has found nothing he's willing to die for, he is not ready to live"

DISCIPLINE MUST BE A HABIT SO INGRAINED THAT IT IS STRONGER THAN THE EXCITEMENT OF BATTLE OR THE FEAR OF DEATH.
General George S. Patton

Laws that forbid the carrying of firearms, disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assulted, and better for the assailants. They serve rather to encourge, than to prevent homicides. For an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

I'll grab those biscuits quickly 1-2-3
And I won't share them since they're all for me.

But just to show I can be thoughtful, too.
I'll toss a toaster pastry out to YOU!

(yes, we studied iambic pentameter last night)

A flying shovel nearly hit me

So I'll toss out a cd by Great Big Sea.

(I couldn't get the meter right on that one because I was too busy tapping my foot and humming along to Mary Mac as it played)

Thanks for the cd I love the Elders.

Throwa a cup of Irish coffe to the next poster

--------------------
The Scots of course insist that the pipes produce music. But the point is after all not too important. For those who love them, the pipes can evoke more vividly than any other instrument, high emotion, they can inspire valor, and tell of tragic tales of battles long ago. They can call forth merriment or sentiment. It does not matter what the sound is called, those who are deaf to its merits would not understand anyway.
