| Ooh! just discovered a new Celtic band called, Bad Haggis! They are based out of Los Angeles, but play the pipes and all pretty well. I first heard them singing the song, "Walking the Plank." sound really good to me and potential buying music for me to buy! |

| I just has to gripe. This is our monsoon season here in the desert. Well every day I request some song from Twinflame and I be doggone if it doesn't come on when my server decides to act up and I don't get to hear it! I am so mad! I have ordered all three of their CDs but it is like taking forever to get to my house! Whew! I feel better now!  |

Hi Cosmict! Actually I have Twinflame's email and I wrote to Wen this week and told him I had not received the first CD I ordered, Peaceful Warriors, yet. I ordered it on June 8. Maybe I am being too impatient.  I just ordered the other two CDs this week so I am being REAL impatient! I just love their music so much and I am now their biggest fan! Thank you for your offer. Since I wrote Wen myself and if I don't get Peaceful Warriors in the next week or two, I will be bugging you via PM, okay? Many thanks again! I really appreciate your willingness to help!  Phew! I just got on my computer and missed the song Columbine!  |

But of course. Lancelot has been on the most requested lists and favorites lists ever since I started listening back in January. It was one of the draws of CR. There is a fair representation on SCA members, current and past in the audience. I do not know if the playing of Heather's songs has attracted more of us SCA folk or whether us SCA folk have made her songs more popularity through requests. It is sort of a chicken/egg thing.  |

| Woohoo! I just received my 3 Twinflame CDs! I am so very excited. Been listening to them all day. All three Cds are wonderful but if I had to pic my faves, these would be them: Sail On Peaceful Warriors How Long Universal Salutation of Light Get Together (loved this song from the 70's) Om Mani Padme Hum Safe and Warm In the River Arrows Keepers of the Flame Surrender Six Billion Gods Free the Past Columbine Ancient of Days Oh I am still listening to them over and over and my favorites will increase, I am sure! All three CD's are wonderful! I think I may be very obnoxious about them on this site! |

| I have been listening to Celtic music for a few years now and I have become a fan of bands that include the fiddle and pipes. Personal favorites: The Glengarry Bhoys Great Big Sea Hadrians Wall The band that brought me to Celtic music was a band out of western New York called Kilbrannan. This four piece band plus a piper mixed in has creative influences from Ireland and Scotland. They play original music plus contemporary arrangements of some great traditional songs. Don't worry about your English, mine is awful but my friends here do as if they always understand me - they are so kind Thank you for introducing these groups, it's fantastic ! I didn't even know there was celtic groups in russia ! I love Mervent ! I had the surprise of my life listening them singing a traditionnal breton song "Tri Martelod" (well as you've probably undestood, I'm from Brittany in France) . And there is a French translation of the site, it's very interesting really ! Only on Celtic radio it's possible to discover celtic groups from all over the world ! |

| I like the pipes and older tunes: Pipers Bonnet (if you can catch the Glenfiddich Piping Championships) Also Caberfeidh Mist Covered Mountains - Pipin Hot sample - http://caber-records.com/audio.php This one is my favorite. I also like the way the Rankin sing this Hale to Nova Scotia by Kathrin McCinnin from the 70s.. I think A Fig for a Kiss - A very bright and lively tune. |

Great Big Sea, not Great Big Ocean.  Just heard Clan an Drumma's "Sgt. MacKenzie". Always liked it, but just had it hit me in a very moving way -- I just got done reading today's "Scotsman" and another report on the casualties among the Black Watch stationed in Fallujah. Log it as a favorite. |

| I have been listening to celtic music for several years and the bagpipe is one of my favorite instruments( obviously i have 4 or 5 different cds of nothing but bagpipes, much to he chagrin of my wife). But i also enjoy Seven Nations, especially The Ballad of Calvin Croiser and Heroes in Tennis Shoes. Jed Marum's Fighting Tigers of Ireland. The Young Dubliners Rocky Road to Dubliln, A Nation Once Again and Molly Malone. Go Lassie Go by anyone. Glengharry Boys Flower of Scotland and Nancy Whiskey. Also since I've started listening to this station I've found Rise's I Will See My Love Again, Ellis Sisters Lord of the Dance. As you can see i tend to lean more towards the irish side of the celtic music but i do love all celtic music. |
