QUOTE (Camac @ 05-May-2008, 07:07 AM)
Patch;

Have you looked under "The Clan of the Cat" on Google under Clan MacKintosh.

Camac.

Thanks, I will try that. I retired before I had to learn computers and got my first computer while was "restricted' due to by-pass surgery. I am on my third computer and I am still teaching myself. If I could sit here longer I could surf more but about 15 min is tops.

Thanks again.

Hi Patch,

I hope this book will provide the informations you wanted about her.
My instincts tells me yes for it is written by a Mackintosh and probably this book is dedicated to her role in the '45 rising.

Let me know when you get it. LOA

I did get the book and just read a few isolated pages. I believe it will be interesting, at least to me, as my Clan affiliation is MacKintosh. The other book, "A History of the Clans of Scotland" will be a hard book to read. I am reading two borrowed books right now and when those are returned, Col. Anne will be next.

Sorry I didn't pick up on this right away.
