Unavoidably Detained by the World
"Irishness is not primary a question of birth or blood or language; it is the condition on being involved in the Irish situation, and usually of being mauled by it."-Conor Cruise O'Brien
sit quietly and wait, that seems to be the best policy!!!!!!

]AN EXCERPT FROM A POEM THAT I WROTE ON 10/11/07
WE CAN'T CHANGE WHAT WE HAVE DONE.... BUT ONLY TAKE A LESSON FROM EACH EXPERIENCE AND MAKE THE MOST OF EACH MINUTE THAT WE HAVE LEFT AND TELL OURELVES THAT IT IS OK TO LIVE, LAUGH AND CRY..... PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE ALL WORK TOGETHER TO GIVE US WHAT WE CAN AND SHOULD EXPERIENCE AND WE NEED TO CHERISH ALL OF THE TIME THAT WE SPEND WITH OURSELVES AND OTHERS MAKING THE MOST OF THE SPECIAL MEMORIES THAT ARE OURS.. AND THE ONES THAT WE HAVE YET TO CREATE WITH THE PEOPLE THAT WE HAVEN'T MET!!!!![/SIZE]
I was born and grew up in Scotland. I helped make haggis. If you actually threw a haggis downhill. 1. You would not hesitate to let it go and few would run after it
Recipe . The entrails of a duck, onions and oatmeal, mix and bind it with the blood of an ox. Wrap it in the stomach of a sheep and boil it until done. A LONG time. slice and serve.
Since I know what is in the traditional haggis, you may chase it !
NOW, if you want the Black Pudding Recipe dont through away the blood of the ox!!!!
I adore haggis!! My other half is a time served butcher and doesn't really eat it, more because he used to make it - but I've told him as long as I enjoy it I'll eat it
Looks like I'm still missing these instant prizes! lol
