Damd Dawg is a stray canine of mixed breed, brindle in color. His breeding is this world's equivalent of St. Bernard and medium sized Fencejumper. Although only about 8 months old and malnourished, he weighs about 90 lb and was in reasonably good physical condition until pinned to a floor with a rusty knife. Since he just happened to show up and attached himself to this group of characters we don't know anything more about his background.
He answers to "Damd Dawg" because that's the only human phrase he recognizes as being used when referring to himself. For all practical purposes he's just a stray, and his behavior will be based on a similar dog I know very well.

Phartripper:
6'4" tall, 260 lbs, muscular build from all the dirt moving while a student of archaeology.
Student of the ancient arts of healing, shape shifting, and magick.
Now a renouned ( in some circles ) archaeologist with a mission.

Is iomadh duine laghach a mhill an Creideamh. Religion has spoiled many a good man.
Jesdone Droppid, or so he is known, is a collecter. He has had a very sorted past, and is an ex seaman. He wanders around Western, and Central Europe, searching for artifacts that cary certain traits, or common markings and glyphs.
He's just shy of six feet, and is a solid 210 lbs. He wears a trenchcoat, and slightly loose fitting boots, that can easily be taken on and off, as need by. He tends to preffer being barefoot, and at all costs, will atempt to keep them dry, due to years standing on deck, feet soaked through the bone. He has his share of quirks, but many of them are an air to hide his old self.
As much as he tries to live his new life, there will always be a bit of the pirate in him, as with his brother, who has been working with the Oxymorons for the past three years.

In no means do I want to offend anyone, but I would like to keep this game in the 18th through 21st centuries and here on earth, at least for now. Please develop your characters accordingly and if you want to assume an unrepresented ,introduced character please do so or create a new character based on the story.

Jedone is fine! I just do not want to involve other planets, atleast not at this time, who knows where it will take us in the future LOL! Right now we seem to be in the 18th or 19th centuries, ie: tall ships masts...
As for the Oxymorons...a group intnet on stopping Phartripper and world progress ( I call them Republican, LOL! ), those that don't want any spice in their lives, food or dress! They just want status quo as defined by them!
And for those who wonder... Holeylands Is not the Holylands! There is a distinct difference between holes and what is holy!
Oh, dear. Should someone point Mike at this thread? The aliens are attacking again.
As for Crabshack. Shadows, I think we should take him along as a deck hand. It'll create conflict later on, and allow the story to unfold a bit more. Also, if we leave Blarney on the Gastronia docks, we'll be shutting Haldur out of the game. Hey, we all need an antagonist or two. It would be nice to get some of the heat off Jesdone, as well.

Convince Phartripper that you need the man.....nothing is in stone !
And that, as they say, is that. Haldur, I think we're all going to have a lot of fun with Crabshack. Like the enemy of my enemy is my friend, kind of thing. It should make for interesting acts, if nothing else.
The Cap'n is going to pick up a few more hands before se set sail. I imagine there'll be a good twelve men, altogether. It would be fun if one or two of these lesser characters could have a voice, for comic relief, and such. I'll take on a Swabber, anyone else? Or if any new members want to join in, this is the perfect opportunity to slip into the story.

Phartripper is not a pig... he likes the ladies and does not want to see them limited in their characters here as disguised seaman... I have hopes some of the team on the digs will be of the female persuasion... life would be dull without them!!!! We will see what ladies , and how they want to play, develops!
No pig here, either. I'm just wondering how else you would convince these old Sea Dogs from that era to let a woman on a ship. Maybe they're more forward thinking in Gastronia.
