Hi

Can someone please help me out with an irish spelling of Tiernan. I would like it pronounced Teer-nin NOT Teer-nawn

I have seen the following variations:

- Tighearnán

- Tighearnáin

- Tiarnán

I am gathering that the fada over the 'a' is making it Teer-nawn, not Teer-nin. Are all of the versions appropriate but WITHOUT the fadas? Or, are they okay WITH the fadas?

Thank you so much guys in advance for helping me out with this. Have to get it right smile.gif
