We are making a change to our system which would limit members from actually changing their membership name on the fly.
Right now editing your profile is not working because member name changes are disabled until we finish the changes in a few days.
Because we are integrating other systems into Celtic Radio, problems can happen if the member changes their name and the other systems are not notified of the change. CelticRadioWiki and the Photograph album are two examples of the systems that could get out of sync.
We are also working on a small medieval turn based Game that also requires member names to stay consistent.
Will have an update on this feature in a few days.
