Currently writing a fiction book that features a prehistoric Celtic tribe. Centered in Cesalpine Gaul, modeled after Burgaschi, I would love to discuss early Celtic migration and class divisions with anyone knowledgeable.

Midi File from moonfairye.com. There are so many amazing midi versions of tunes there (I had such a hard time choosing!) Please credit and support.

Learning to Learn??
Posted by jesstuss on May 2nd, 2007 12:01 AM
“In a world that is constantly changing, there is no one subject or set of subjects that will serve you for the foreseeable future, let alone for the rest of your life. The most important skill to acquire now is learning how to learn.” --John Naisbitt, author

Flighty Thoughts
Posted by jesstuss on Apr 15th, 2007 7:27 PM
“One of the most beautiful ways the soul is present is through thought. Thoughts are the forms of the soul’s inner swiftness. In a certain sense, there is nothing in the world as swift as a thought. It can fly anywhere and be with anyone. Our feelings too can move swiftly; yet even though they are precious to our own identity, thoughts and feelings still remain largely invisible. In order to feel real, we need to bring that inner invisible world to expression. Every life needs the possibility of expression.” -- John O’Donahue, Anam Cara, 133

Souls and Cars
Posted by jesstuss on Apr 8th, 2007 10:07 AM
“We wouldn't shift directly from first to fourth gear in our car; we have to go through second and third to get to fourth. An imagination shift happens the same way. Think of the intellect as first gear, the heart as second gear, the spirit as third gear, the soul as fourth gear. We typically live in our intellect, using the information it gives us to make our daily decisions. As we move into the region of the heart, we begin operating from a feeling level, where we experience the first inklings of true compassion, true meaning. From the heart we can proceed to the spirit, the place of inner fire, inspiration, of creative linking to our higher selves. And when we shift into the realm of the imagination, we are in the realm of the soul, a state of oneness not only with the various dimensions of our fragmented selves, but with all the universe.” --Taylor & Crain, Optimystics Handbook
