i'm going to pass...the real event was heartache enough, my husband is a firefighter which makes it even harder......todays quote says it all for me"woe to him who would make light of another man's grief" where is all the money that is going to be made going???back to the families??

I think not. The original incident was a tragedy, but what went on(Factual or Hollywood) is of no interest to me. It happened, I do not need to know who said what or who did what.

Will wait until it comes out on DVD. I wild like to get a sense of how the families feel about it all.

I understand how you feel. I myself am a Firefighter/Paramedic and was on duty the day it happened. That is a good question as to where the money is going. But I think the movie is a reminder least we forget. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't remember or think of 9/11. I can hear their blood crying out.

Oh, also I will probably wait for the DVD as well. I actually know a couple that parished on that flight. They were from my old church.

Yes. I've been hearing that there is no political slant which is very good.

I'll be definately going to see it but it won't bee this weekend... maybe next weekend. Will let you all know what it's about if you can wait that long. I think too much of the world's population have forgotten about 9-11-01.

In what I've seen in some of the "making of" clips, ALL of the families who had loved ones on that specific flight gave their permission towards the making of this film. It focuses primarily on the events that took place on the plane itself and not the other flights. I realize that for many this movie may seem to soon to have to relive such a tragic day. For those of us that want the story told over and over and over again so that no one ever will forget or will ever tell the story wrong I think this movie will be a good way to further that.

We all grieve differently...it's up to you to face what has happened in your own time. As for me I'm looking forward to seeing the story about some "average Joes" become "American Heroes"

I won't be seeing it. Even though it happened years ago now, it still seems too fresh a heartache. I still remember how and when I heard that the towers had been hit and that flight had gone down. sad.gif

I know how you feel. I use to be able to see them from my bedroom window in the far distance.
