I feel sad at the passing of a man who saw me through a great portion of my childhood. I remember Gilligan from the earliest days of my life, and I always remember the show as one of wholesome fun and innocence. He will truly be missed.

Gilligan Is Dead!
I was sad to hear of his passing as well. When I tried to explain to my kids that there was no cable tv when I was little (forget the remote!!) and that we rushed in after school to watch our favorite shows - Gilligan's Island being one of them...they could hardly understand. What with DVD's, TiVo, reruns of the oldies and a billion channels to chooe from...it baffled their wee minds! Who will ever forget Gilligan? I know I won't...and thank you for the fond memories...
