Any other fans of Monarch of the Glen out there? It's a brilliant one hour drama series filmed in the Highlands about a young man who takes over the hereditary lairdship of a run-down and bankrupt highland estate. It's filmed entirely on location and features a Scottish cast.

Check it out on BBC America, Friday nights at 8p EST or on www.bbcamerica.com. I give it a (d).

I wish I could get BBC America. Is the show syndicated on any other networks? This sounds like the type of show I would be interested!

I Love Monarch of the Glen!!!!!   I am so disappointed that we don't get it on a regular basis.  It will show up on BBCAMERICA for a few days and then it will be gone for a month.

The latest news I heard was that the man who played Tosh... who I do not remember... committed suicide..I believe it was last week.   I also got a report of some character changes which I won't say here so not to spoil anything for other viewers.

Besides the story line...the scenery is absolutely wonderful!!!

Paul we need an area for Monarch of the Glen or at least for BBCAMERICA.

I also like Hamish MacBeth

Check out the link below for the info on Phil McCall who played Tosh on Monarch of the Glen.  :(

Filiming for the fourth season begins this March and will air starting in the fall. Until then I suppose we must do with the first three series in rerun on BBCA until then.

Unfortunately I think it only airs on BBCA. But if you happen to get satellite and have access to the BBC stations, then you may be able to find it.

It's on BBCA Friday nights at 8pm EST. I only get it cause I just switched to digital cable.

Hi,
Just tosay that the series goes from strength to strength, with lots of plot twists along the way.
We watch it every Sunday night without fail, here in Scotland
