They are my favorite band but I also enjoy Cape Breton fiddling. In fact, I took lessons in Cape Breton at the Gaelic COllege for two summers. There's nothing like a Cape Breton fiddle to get my heart and feet going. Although I've always enjoyed pipe bands, I never 'got into' any of this till I discovered GBS. They have in turn, introduced me to many celtic-influenced bands like the Barra MacNeils, Banshee, Natalie MacMaster (whose fiddle I got to play one time!), Jim Fidler and many wonderful musicians from Canada's East Coast. Although I do enjoy Gaelic Storm, Hadrian's Wall, the Glengarry Bhoys and Greenwich Meantime, my heart is in Eastern Canadian music. I'm just an old lady enjoying the music that speaks to my soul, here near Philadelphia. Anne
