Welcome Pixiegirl

This site has a great deal of wonderful music and you at time hear a little Gaeilge, Gaidhlig, Cymraeg as well as Breton or Cornish. There are written materials available if you want to have a go at trying to learn a little on your own.

I obtained some materials so that I could try to understand some of what I was hearing when I listen to groups like Clannad or Capercaillie.

Welcome aboard

Welcome to Celtic Radio pixiegirl. I hope you will enjoy the music as well as the nice people you'll find here on the forums. We have a lot of Gaelic information under the Gaelic Languages topic. I look forward to you posting here.

This is an excellent site. I believe you will enjoy it. As for Gaelic, I have downloaded courses in both Scot and Irish. The best time to learn Gaelic is in ones youth. I can read a fair amount of both Scot and Irish languages but can not speak either.

Best wishes with the language and enjoy the site.

Welcome to the forums and hello from the Navajo Nation in Northern Arizona, pixiegirl! You will find quite a few folks share your interest in the Gaelic language here. I'll venture to say that there are those who would be glad to help you in finding resources to help in your studies.

Welcome aboard and have a great day!
