I don't recall what my first Yahoo search might have been. But I remember starting to use it in 1994/1995. Actually, until I found Google, Alta-Vista was my main haunt. But when looking for something I'd feed the same query into 5-6 engines. Yahoo's categories are still a wonderful idea. A great way to just browse. Even after I found Google, I used to use it when looking up tutorials and the like.

I don't use Yahoo much at all anymore. But sometimes it's a nice site to have around. Google is far better. But occasionally, I still find myself typing www.yahoo.com into an address bar.

I use www.dogpile.com , I never did like Yahoo... to many tracking cookies and spyware dropped on the machine from them.
