Art Work, A place to put your own individual Art

This is me trying my hand at people photography... I am really not that good with a camera... but I titled this Young and Old because it gets the age bracket real well... This is my nephew and Granny Pearson.

OK, here is the last one that I'll put up today. Its another "mixed medium" piece of mine. I've used these two people in other artwork of mine, but this is a good display of them alone.

Angel -- what can I say? Your work is so phenomenally good! I get excited everytime you post a new piece of your work! So are those the two you are wanting titles for? I love your use of color!

Danann -- OMG! I love your work! Is your work computer generated too? Sorry, I am so ignorant when it comes to these new mediums nowadays. I just still work in the old way, pencil drawing and oils, so I am not up to date on the new mediums now. And you are very good with the camera! Don't know yourself down! Thank you so much for sharing. It is great to see all these wonderful pieces of artwork on here and in so many different aspects and genres.

oldraven, yeah Wal-mart is like a maddening disease all over the place. I hate to hear that one day they are in the UK too! Or are t hey already t here? However, I happen to love them! I live in a small town and that is the biggest thing going around here!

Thank you so much for the kind words. The postwork is pretty much totally done on the computer. I use mostly Brice 5, Photoshop 7, and Poser Pro 4. The camera is a digital (Olympus) and I touch it up in photoshop before I use it as a background. I am glad that you enjoyed them!

Danann! Thanks for explaining your work. Like I said, I am not up to date on all this computer generated artwork, but thanks to many of you artists, I getting an education. Very beautiful work is being generated by this art form. Share more!

I tried and kinda wound up with a big blob with one eye
oh well some folks are just gifted.

Big one eyed blobs can be nice to look at and I didn't say that anybody's art work was better than any body elses Angel

My pencil and paper feel like stone age material. But it is what I am most comfortable with. Thanks for sharing your work all of you. *bows in humble adoration of host's (Rider) and Dannans work. I also really enjoy the work of oldraven and everyone else who has posted here *remembering earlier posts by Ravenwing and others*. All I can say is wow! and thank you all again for sharing with us.

I agree! Everyone's work here is spectacular! More than that, they are inspirational. I feel something when I look at each piece. If I could draw with pencil and paper... I would, but my dogs end up looking like bears, and my bears look like blobs! We won't go into what my humans look like!
