Don't forget that Boondock saints 2 will be out March 9th!! Also notice that WalMart has a fairly decent Irish movie collection on sale right now. Titles like Gangs of New York, The Commitments, Secret of Roan Inish, Magical Legend of the Leprechauns, Rob Roy, and others all going for about $7.50 Only in DVD at my local store-I'm hoping that copies of these movies in blu ray will show up before St. Patricks day. Then I can donate my DVD irish collection to the local library.

Finally saw The curious case of Benjamin Button. Amazing CGI work to make Brad Pitt appear old! It may have been the intent of the film makers, but the movie really dragged on and Pitt's voice was so monotone. I recommend the short story by our Irish friend, F. Scott Fitzgerald.

I have a Question. What's with this Hollywood facination about Zombies Movies? Seen one you've seen them all.

Remake of The taking of Pelham 123. Travolta can sure play a nasty villain!

I saw Avatar a few days ago. Real nice movie, not like you havent seen the plot before, but great effects, real easy on the eye. Of course it boils down to the old "boy meets girls, boy screws up, then they make up and live happily ever after" Was quite obvious to me that the creators of the film must have played World of warcraft at some point, as both characters, beasts and scenery were extremely similar to the game. Dont make it less viewable tho, I liked it a lot, and will surely watch it again.

Play something irish

Leap Year. Story was fair but I would watch it again for the scenery of Ireland.

If you are interested you can find more info about the filming locations here:

Just watched Ondine, filmed on the Beara Peninsula, Ireland. Good story, and the little girl in it is awesome! thumbs_up.gif

Watched Paranormal Activity. Pretty clever. Effective use of horror. I get motion sickness from watching movies done on home video equipment however.

I went to see "Killer's" the other night. I am not a fan of Ashton Kutchers but at least the popcorn was really good that night! I kept waitin g for Tom Cruise to show up until I realized his movie is "Knight and Day" not "Killers".
