Slightly Drunk And Bored..

from the earth comes the last tree to grow
from the womb comes the last man to cry
coexisting in subtle chaos
on the verge of extinction
and apocalypse
we sing our last songs in hope that we were right
this entire life
right, in our beliefs and accusations and prayers
the trees and the animals and the soil are one
all is all, all the same


(note: I really enjoy this part of the forum. I can write and have others review it, and although I haven't really 'struck gold' with my writing, and although it may be somewhat bland, I can still post whatever I feel like writing at the time, and it will be read. For that, I am thankful! )

The end of an era, and the perminant loss of things that are dear, is always sad. The hope when someone is still left, is so bittersweet.
