Today I'm writing this to ask my Celtic Radio family to uphold a dear friend in thoughts and prayers.

He found out today that his partner is HIV - positive and this itself is a heartbreaking news for him as anyone can imagine.
The second point is that he will be tested next week if he also caught this horrible virus and it will take two weeks at least until he gets his results.

So right now his situation is a very hard and desperate one and he needs all support he can get.

Please keep them in thoughts and prayers. As soon as I know more I will let you know.

Gabby

Will definitely be praying, Gabby. We have a God Who specializes in hard situations. May He be real to all those involved. Take care.

Prayers dear gabby for your friends and for you as well as you hurt with them.

Prayers and warm thoughts headed their way. I'll throw in a Rosary too if I am able.

Please allow me to thank you all so much. AIDS is still a very touchy topic and I know more than one person who had turned their back; maybe because of ignorance, prejudices or simple fear that makes them NOT to deal with it.

The more I appreciate to read your posts, posts of caring, warm-hearted and supportive persons. Thank you all; your thoughts and prayers mean very much.

As soon as I have news about the results I will let you know. Until then - thank you family. hug.gif

I got good news this week - the first test was NEGATIVE!!! smile.gif But my friend isn't out of the woods now though as he needs to be retested in certain periods of time. But it's a relief for now.

Even if the tests ahead turn out negative, too it will be hard to live with the knowledge that the person he loves is HIV - positive - still a death sentence.

Please keep praying and thank you all. smile.gif
