I had a VERY strange dream acouple weeks ago.

...I had maggots festering in a certain spot on my lower right leg, and throughout the dream I was trying to get people to see that i needed help. I woke up when I had gotten to the emergency room (although I don't remember how) and the ER nurse/doctor was shaking my pants leg and the maggots were dropping out....

Pretty much 95% of the time I don't remember my dreams, but this was so disturbing It's stuck in my brain cavity.

Yes, it honestly feels like coming home. I looked at previous posts I had done while being a very troubled and struggling teenager, and I remembered so much that I had forgotten!

It's always interesting to see what we discover or rediscover. Right now I've been going through many changes and thinking about things I've just taken for granted. I have been the person to like whatever other people like, or what people like about me.

I was alone at work one day and saw Celtic Radio at Pandora, and the memories of CelticRadio.Net came like a flood into my brain!

I am who I am, and I'm very happy I'm me.

Hello Everyone!

The last time I logged into CelticRadio was in 2008 for a short time. When I was most active in posting I was Sophomore/Junior year of high-school.

Well, I'm 22 now and so much has changed! Even over the past 'couple of months some major changes are, and have, been taking place. It has been incredibly fun to look back at the posts I made, and remembering so many things I had forgotten.

This forum and all of the people in it truly helped me in very difficult times during childhood, I am forever grateful for that. I had side splitting laughter and tears streaming down my face from the kind words of others that I encountered on the site.

Over the past 'couple of months, as I mentioned, many changes have been taking place. Things like "who am I?" "why am I here?" "what's my purpose?" have been consistently running through my head.

Many people struggle to answer those questions their entire lives, others don't give it much thought.

One thing I have realized is that, "I am who I am," I have loved Celtic music since first discovering it years back, and I still love it today. Many times I try to fight who I am, wanting to be someone else. Now it's time to sit back and enjoy, me.

I was reminded of this site while listening to Celtic music online and can honestly see myself becoming involved again. I can't promise anything, but I know it brought me such enjoyment and great relations in the past, it can do it again.

If you remember me, please update me on how you are! I would love to hear about it.

If you don't know me, hello!

P.S. I will be updating all of my profile information soon. Please be patient with me! tongue.gif

Hello family! Special hello to WizardofOwls (Big Bro) and Rindy. My first true friends on Celtic Radio and along with many others that if I thanked I would take up a full forum's page to list all the usernames.

I wanted to basically let everyone know I'm still alive. My life is ... going. I'm 16 still, a Junior in Highschool now.

I haven't been around to see how everyone is here, my life has been occupied with work, school, and trying to learn (unsuccessfully I may add) how to drive. I've felt guilty about just suddenly leaving after the death of my grandfather.

I've been playing a game on the computer called WoW, just a few clicks away from my family here...but I've just never remembered intel just now sad.gif.

To make a long story short...what's been going on? How's everyone? What's happened since I've left? and if you'd like to know more about me let me know smile.gif

My email is also if anyone wants to more quickly contact me.

I LOVE YOU ALL!

I find that those cat treats have salt in them. Even alittle salt can be bad to cats health.

With all the chemicals and stuff going into those....

Gah, I like to know what's going into the good my cat eats smile.gif

Heres some recipies for cats. The first one is cooking in the oven right now. The only change I made was to cut it down smaller, my cat wouldn't like it that big.

Tuna Tidbits

# 6 ounce can of tuna
# 1/4 cup water drained from tuna
# 3 T cooked egg white, chopped
# 1/4 cup cornmeal
# 1/2 cup whole wheat flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine tuna, egg white and water. Add cornmeal and flour and blend to form a dough. Knead into a ball and roll to 1/4 inch thick. Cut into one-inch sized pieces. Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes. Makes 12 cookies.

Savory Cheese Treats

# 3/4 cup white flour
# 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
# 5 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
# 1/4 cup plain yogurt or sour cream
# 1/4 cup cornmeal

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Combine cheeses and yogurt. Add flour and cornmeal. Knead dough into a ball and roll to 1/4 inch. Cut into one inch sized pieces and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 25 minutes. Makes 2 dozen.

Chick N?Biscuits

# 1 1/2 cups shredded cooked chicken
# 1/2 cup chicken broth
# 1 cup whole wheat flour
# 1/3 cup cornmeal
# 1 tablespoon soft margarine

Preheat the over to 350 F. Combine chicken, broth and margarine and blend well. Add flour and cornmeal. Knead dough into a ball and roll to 1/4 inch. Cut into one-inch sized pieces and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 18 cookies.

Crispy Liver Morsels

# 1/2 cup cooked chicken livers
# 1/4 cup water
# 1 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
# 1/4 cup cooked carrot, mashed
# 1 tablespoon soft margarine

Preheat the oven to 325 F. Place well-done livers in a blender with 1/4 cup water. In a bowl, combine flour and margarine. Add liver mixture and carrots and knead dough into a ball. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thick and cut into one-inch sized pieces. Place cookies on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 325 F for 10 minutes. Makes 12 cookies.

QUOTE (CelticRose @ 26-Jun-2005, 01:58 AM)
Moonchild, can you explain to me again what happened to your bank card? It sounds scary! Hope it will all be worked out soon.

CR, what happened with my bank card was that I used it somewhere to buy something and the bank called me right away to tell me that my bank card had been swiped and duplicated!! huh.gif

I was in shock to not only found out that that had happened but also for the fact that the bank called me right away!!! If they wouldn't have called me I wouldn't have noticed at all. I'd have noticed if there was money missing but otherwise no clue!! So as soon as they called me they told me to go into a branch close to me to get a new card. So I did as soon as I got off the phone and got a new card and changed all my pin #'s. What the bank didn't tell me was that there was a hold on my account because of the card being swiped and didn't notice until I got a call from my insurance company saying that the money didn't go through. It wasn't a NSF they told me it looked like there was a hold on my account. So I went back into the bank and got it taken off and got a letter written up explaining that it wasn't my fault that there was a hold on my account so that I could be waived the s/c for my insurance not going through.

I don't know where it happened since the bank can't release that information but think that I have a pretty good idea where it was. I think it happened at a gas station near my house where they have their debt machine underneath the counter. So whenever I go there I only bring cash now!!! I have even tried to lean over to see if I can see where it is but I couldn't. Now I'm very cautious to look where the bebit machines are and watch them swipe my card and get it back before I even start typing in my pin#!!! My cousin has told me of an instance of where someone she knew had her card swiped first in the regular debit machine then they swiped it in a different machine while she was entering in her pin #. It's getting pretty bad that you don't feel safe to use your bank card anymore!!! wink.gif

Geesh that's horrible. ....ya that's all I can say... wow

Finals went fine. I'm sure I passed. I'm going to be going into my JUNIOR year of high school. I can't believe it.

Theres actually a change of plans with my dogs Ash's, were having them put into an Urn shaped like a dog and put in our living room. Scenes from meet the parents come to mind....but I guess there going to be in a sealed box than inside a screw sealed dog.

I hope I can handle it.

I'm having real big family trouble, but no need to get into that here. I'll talk to you sooner than later I hope!!!

QUOTE (Lil @ 15-Jun-2005, 10:26 AM)
Concerning Lily, if it were me, I'd see about taking the ashes home and burying them in the backyard.
When I was 13 and my dog Chloe died, my Poppy (my grandfather) put her under the widow to the dining room in the back yard.

We are having the ashes buried in my Grandmothers backyard on my mothers side, she loved it there. It's a more permanent settlement than were I live.

Madadh, one of my moms friend's actually brought that over in a handwritten form with a card. It was a very nice thing to do...and I found that site online and put it on my favorites. It's always good to see it again...thank you so much for the reminder.

Ya...my grandfather was a GREAT man. He loved fishing alot...

I just did my Math Finale today, Now I have to do a Science and S.S. REGENTS. Ah!
