Dear Lord, lest I continue in my complacent ways, help me to remember that someone died for me today. And if there be war, help me to remember to ask and to answer "am I worth dying for?" - Eleanor Roosevelt

I would mix untill the 15th. I don't want to be overloaded with it since most local stations here will start playing it the day after thanksgiving.

After Thanksgiving or December 1st, either one would be fine. Love the Christmas theme!
Did you know that there's an all Christmas radio station n Live 365? Seems strange to hear "Jingle Bells" in July, but I guess there are folks who enjoy it!

i just think there was to much last year and i love Christmas... but i think even during the season you could have a heavy mix but get some other stuff in there too ... just my wee opinion...
I'm a freak, I start getting Christmassy about now. Probably because the retail world makes me do it.
Speaking of, it's time for me to get off here and keep listing stuff in the store. Yay!
Seriously though, I do like it early, but I'd go light (very light) until Thanksgiving, then introduce more into the playlist. Go fulltime about the 15th.
I know I'm a bit late but December 1st is good enough. In shopping malls they already started in the middle of october...that's nuts because you get to Christmas and you're fed up with it.

Thanks for everyones feedback on the Christmas programming.
Last year we started around the 15th of November and because of your feedback we have held off up until now. Starting in the evening of November 21st we shall switch Highlander Radio to an all Christmas broadcast.
"A Celtic Christmas" has been so popular in the past few years that our listener numbers increase about 35% during the holiday season. So, while I know some people are going to miss the Highlander Radio format for a month, we do bring in alot of new listeners during this time of the year.
Consider too that we now have other listening options available: Celt-Rock-Radio, Celtic Moon and BlueGrass Hills.
Excited to start our Christmas programming as we really do have a unique and rich collection of Scottish, Irish and Celtic music for the season.
