I am sitting down, checking the forums before the Easter madness begins. I went to Wal-mart this morning at 7:30 that is the time to go. I had the entire store to myself. Got in and out. I hope you all have a great Easter.

I'm browsing the boards waiting for my hubby to get home. Once he gets home, I'm going to the walk-in clinic to get checked for pneumonia. sad.gif

Just perusing the forums. Hubby is out working. We did our Easter thing yesterday. So nice to have a quiet day...........for me anyways.

Rindy if you get Clann An Drumma to the Colorado Fest next summer, I am coming too!

Monarch, how exciting! You got to talk to your hubby in Iraq? How is he doing over there?

Irish Stepper, I am so sorry you are so sick. I was hoping you would be better by now.

I went to Mass with my parents today. I even took the occasion to dress up-nice shirt, tie, dress pants, and my imitation black patent leather shoes. We then had lunch, and now it's the calm before the storm-my sister and her family are coming over for dinner. I say the same thing every time they go home. It's nice when the come, but it's even nicer when they leave.

Blech! I just took a sip of my coffee, only to find out it had cooled off yucky.gif ! Had to go & warm it up!

CelticRose - my husband is doing fine over there - he is getting bored over there but we have to wait at least till August before he comes home for a visit.

But it's always nice to talk to him - even though it's pretty much every day. I feel blessed that I have the opportunity to talk to him so often. I know of wives which hardley hear from their husbands at all.

BTW - I am checking out what happend in between my last visit and now and also I am doing laundry - so that I am not quite of the subject biggrin.gif

I should be getting out the rafts. We have had alot of rain here in the middle Ga area and my driveway is almost unpassable.

But actually I've been sleeping all day. My allergies are terrible and everything is yellow here.

I'm recovering from the medicine that the doctor prescribed to "cure" me. Talk about the cure being worse than the ailment! I've had the flu since last Wednesday and on Monday, he prescribed me "Tamiflu". Now this stuff is only effective if you start it 48 hours after getting the flu (so why did he give it to me?). One hour after taking it yesterday, I was getting sick in the bathroom which lasted about 6 hours. My stomach still isn't right. I read the side affects..."the most common is vomiting, which should go away in 1-2 DAYS as your body gets used to the medicine". Are you KIDDING ME? eek.gif Like you're not already miserable enough, let's have you worshipping the porcelein god as well. I hate incompetant doctors... sad.gif
