What did you do for Valentine's Day?

My parents and I went out for dinner to a local Italian restaurant. They had the veal marsala. They like it better than I do. I had the cheese manicotti drool.gif tongue.gif biggrin.gif .

We celebrated the weekend before Vday. Went out of town with another couple, rented a couple of hotel rooms, stayed over night WITHOUT the kids wink.gif and ate at a really nice steak place, Texss Steakhouse ( I wanted Red Lobster but I was out-voted) and did a little shopping. All in all, a really nice weekend.

I worked with my cousin in my aunt's chocolate store (she's the manager). My cousin dipped strawberries in chocolate while I packaged them up in bags of 5 or 10. They looked like chocolate cover roses. dribble.gif They were a huge seller! Other than that the two of us went out for supper together since neither one of us has a boyfriend right now. eat.gif

My bride gave me a coupon for a 30-minute upper body massage at the local spa.

I gave her a coupon for a free manicure and spa pedicure, along with a vase of flowers.

And this weekend we're taking each other out to a good restaurant.

We took the kid's (yep, the kid's) out to dinner with us, we went to the Olive Garden, it's wonderful! (not as good as authentic Italian, but good none the less!) I lived in Sicily for almost 5 years, so Italian food is special to me. wink.gif

I was surprised with Diamonds! My husband of almost 13( heart.gif heart.gif) years had paid for a manicure and pedicure for me, so, I had me nails and feet done. He's the best! wub.gif

I luv eating at the Olive Garden, Becca. Yummy food! I think it was very good of you and your hubby to take your kids out for a special occasion, I'm sure they will remember it and it's always good to make memories.

I had to work on Valentines day, so for me it was another day, another dollar!

Yeah, they too are our "loves". My husband travels so, all time is pretty much family time...

Sorry you had to work, maybe you can buy you something nice for all the hard effort at work!!
