....as in "Robin Hood, Robin Hood, riding thru the glen, Robin Hood, Robin Hood, with his band of men......" (or something), Richard?
Now I remember.....Robin Hood was played by (and this is a reach) Richard Sterling? Some dark haired guy named Richard, anyway. Have to do a search to see how accurate I am.
I am as old as TV....well almost. Annabelle is as old as she wants to pretend to be....but she could tell you that Clayton Moore was the Original TV Lone Ranger and Tonto was played by Jay Silverheels. I've been to Lone Ranger Ranch north of Los Angeles....it was up near Spahn's Movie Ranch of Charles Manson fame.

After a quick search, I see I was wrong about the star of the old Robin Hood TV series.....'twas Richard GREENE and not Richard STERLING. Oh well.....the show ran from 1955-58 and was filmed in and around London and Sherwood Forest, incidently.
I can't say I really remember the series, but I do know the song....
Robin Hood ,Robin Hood ,riding through the glen, Robin Hood ,Robin Hood, with his band of men, feared by the bad, loved by the good, Robin Hood ,Robin Hood , Robin Hood.

It's sure fun reading through all these lists! It brings back to mind a lot of shows that I'd forgotten about, but really enjoyed. Funny how that seems to work as we get further into life . (Let's just agree to leave it at that!)
