What do you have planned for the weekend?

I though this might be good way to get some discussions hopping wink.gif

My cousin's being thrown a suprise b-day party, shie is 16, so we are traveling to go to a resturant in the next city to suprise her. Then saturday, the kids are bowling on their league, we are bowling on our league saturday night and then sunday is my nephews b-day party. In the mean time, between all those times, we are gonna go get supplies to fix the door and the floor in the bathroom which is long overdue to be replaced and look for a new vehicle. I think i will be extremely busy!

I will be building several raised garden beds so my grandkids can experience growing flowers and vegetables in a garden. I want them to feel of joy of getting their hands dirty and watching the seeds and plants beginning to grow. cool.gif

that is cool. I been looking into making this area in our back yard a big flower garden. It is actually a in ground pool that was filled with dirt. Why? I have no clue, but I thought since there is cement around it, I could add a brick walk way and set a bench there in the middle surrounded by tons of plants and flowers.

There's a Heritage Festival in Largo tomorrow, and Sunday morning a local church is installing a new minister; I'm to pipe them down the aisle.

Going to sit down and grade a whole mess of final exams and papers - sad.gif - am contemplating throwing them all out and giving everyone an A, then going out for a beer.

Just kidding . . . . lol.gif

Cleaning and going to 5PM Mass on Saturday. Sunday, I'm going over to my parents' to do my laundry and look through the help wanted ads. I don't know what else, seeing as how there's no football this weekend sadangel.gif .

Was going to visit a friend in Indianapolis, IN. But that fell through. Then I was thinking of maybe driving down to Georga. Doubt I'll do that this weekend. Right now about the only plan I have is I'm thinking about going to see Pan's Laberynth. I hear it's good

How many constitute a "mess"? Would it be a smaller or larger number than say, a shi*load? Or would it be more along the lines of a plethora? Personally, I would probably be able to make a mess out of just one exam or paper, depending upon the subject matter and time-frame allowed for completion.

Oh sorry, back to the subject of weekend plans. Like Lady of the Loch, I too have unresolved bathroom issues. I need to replace the faucet, but in order to do it properly I must replace the sink and vanity as well. The sink is this terrible avocado color that was popular in the sixties and it's impossible to find any towels or bath accessories that don't clash. I don't know what they would have used for a match back then, as I was raised in a harvest gold bath environment.

BTW- The * in my line above represents the letter "p". Had ya' nervous, eh?

How crazy is that color? we have like this pea green 60's color going on.I don't know why they would make tubs/toilets and sinks in this color but it is sooooooo ugly! Luckily, we bought a new vanity, sink, lights, etc. just need to by a new tub and surround after the floor is put in

Hi Lady of the Loch and all,

My wife and I will celebrate our 32 wedding anniversary on Sunday! inlove.gif How time passes - it honestly doesn't seem like it's been five years, let alone over six times that!!!

We don't have anything fancy planned, but we've already bought each other some nice sweaters and jackets, so I'm guessing that we'll be going somewhere where we can take a nice walk - if it's sunny forum.gif

Anyway, I hope that everyone has a great weekend and make it a safe one, too!

Best cheers! Robbie

Well, the only plans we had - were to start cleaning house and throw out all the things which are not coming with us to our next dutystation.

I worked the whole day on Saturday and today I am cleaning up the odds and ends and do all the rest of the laundry.

We don't have an exact date for moving yet - but it will be soon.

I hate moving but I really am excited to go home for a few years after spending 10 years here in the US. And we are planning on coming straigt back here to NC.
