We are all from the Isle of Man, but two of us moved off island. For some years we played only in "The Mitre" Pub on the Isle of Man when we were able to visit. Hence "Stationary", the band didn't travel.

Recently we seem to have hit it in Switzerland, and have had two tours there and a CD released. We're still stuck with the name though.

If the "Travelling Willburys" complain, we'll just quote it in gaelic. "Stashoon y wil brys"

I am from Germany, half irish and soon 41 years old now. I finally managed to switch on Celticradio /Highlanderradio on my PC.

In younger years (hehe) I had my own irish and american folk band in Germany, then married in Peru and it meant bye-bye to gaelic-scottish-irish culture..lol. Now backin Germany with my son. We both love this radio and are especially fans of Runrig and Wolfestone. We love most of the songs played here!! thumbs_up.gif

Myhobbies beside celtic music are playing guitar, singing, song- and storywriting, painting and walking
