I've been involved in traditional and celtic music for over forty years, first in my native Britain and now in the Seattle area. I play a variety of instruments including Scottish, Northumbrian and uilleann pipes, concertina, whistle and flute. I perform at weddings and other family events as well as having a regular monthly gig in a local bar. As well as playing myself I listen to a lot of other (better ) musicians and run an specialist online music store where all the products feature a bagpipe of some sort somewhere in the mix!
I look forward to widening what I listen even further through recommendations on this forum.
Bravo, bagpipesdisc, I just watched your youtube performance from WV. Ian, welcome to a wonderful site filled with great music, wonderful people and interesting and lively topics in the forums.
