Christmas has arrived at CelticRadio.net! We now have our complete Christmas catalog available for requests. You can check out all of the new music added through our "New Music" section:

http://www.celticradio.net/php/new_music.php

Christmas selections will play occasionally during our standard broadcasts until December 14th when the 12 Days of Christmas music begins! Christmas music will play until the day after Christmas and all of our station plugs will be replaced with a few Holiday wishes from Rebecca.

While we have many Celtic Christmas melodies in our library, we are expanding our Christmas selections this year to include Christmas music that may not be considered truly Celtic, but that we feel will add and enhance our Christmas broadcast. We hope you will enjoy these selections as much as we have enjoyed putting them together.

Look for a few changes to our site on the 14th to get into the Christmas Holidays and on Christmas Eve we plan on broadcast a 45 minute program called, "The Ghosts of Christmas Eve.

Happy Holidays Everyone!

I have a question, is there any way you could still have the Christmas music play until after Epiphany...aka that 12th day of Christmas. It's still Christmas for a lot of people and you don't have to have it 24/7 but selected is fine. I just don't like how everyone celebrates it so much months before the actualy holiday and the day after they stop. The celebration should continue for 12 more days. I was just wondering if that would be a possibility. Thanks.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!

There's a dear little plant that grows in our Isle
Twas St . Patrick himself, sure, that set it;
And the sun of his labour with pleasure did smile,
And with dew from his eye often wet it.
It grows through the bog, through the brake, through the
Mireland, and they call it the dear little shamrock of Ireland.

Thank you all for your kind comments and good wishes! We hope that you enjoy the Christmas selections as much as we enjoy them! It always surprises me how few stations play Christmas music now a days.....

We have an oldies station on our FM dial (103.3) in the Boston area that plays all Christmas music. But nothing as beautiful and inspiring as some of the selections we have.

And, I think the suggestion of playing Christmas music after Christmas is excellent! On December 27 we will return to our regular broadcast with requests open, but we will still mix in some Christmas tunes and also leave our entire Christmas catalog open to requests through January 1st.
