Could you people please help me find several sites that offer free MP3 downloads of hit songs from the 70's? My mom, who isn't a fan of Celtic music, but was nevertheless intrigued by the idea that I could download some songs for free on the internet, has asked me to find for her the song 'Sway' sung by Michael Buble, or the Pussycats, or etc. . . . and several other songs. But I'm having trouble finding them, and so I'm hoping you can help me. Thanx. unsure.gif sad.gif unsure.gif smile.gif biggrin.gif

Not that I'd ever encourage taking something without paying for it wink.gif , but try www.limewire.com.

The "And Legal" side of that makes things harder. Unless you're talking about current artists. I know several artists, such as Evanescence and Blackmore's Night, have free downloads avaliable. But as for finding stuff from the 70's... not so sure. . . Stonecircle used to host full mp3s, but most places (Twinflame, Loreena McKennitt, and Nightwish) only post samplers. None of this, however, fits what you're looking for. Your best legal bet would probably be to spend a little bit on a Napster or iTunes subscribtion.

Aaediwen, I thank you, but since I've not much of my own allowance, and being unable to take jobs on weekends since I'm pursuing a SCL honor, (and of course, I'm doing this as a surprise for my mum's birthday) I guess I'll just have to wait for next year. Thanks again! biggrin.gif
