what do you do, if say 5 people sign up and are in your kingdom and they dont play or drop out

how do we recover this? if we have 4 players or 5 players who are nto playing

we are trying to get the vote done for gov, and they dont answer the mail either, and havent moved at all..

we need all 10 members of the kingdom to play, can we get others in that kingdom if the others wont play?

I mean how can you do that with 1 or 3 players for the kingdom?

As Mac has said several times, this game is designed so that people can play once a week and still accumulate gold.
Because this is how the game is designed, it's very likely that each and every kingdom will have several barely-active members.

I have two modes: wiseass and dumbass. Mode is determined by current blood alcohol level.

Drinking is a sport. In order to be competitive, you must practice on a regular basis. Although you can practice alone, it is much more fun to practice with friends. If you're out of shape and practice too hard, you will regret it the next day.

Life is a disease. It is sexually transmitted and always terminal.

[q]Voting a leader
if more than half of the players within a country (the same x,y co-ordinates) vote for the same player to be their leader, that person becomes leader, and is able to appoint governors of Income, Diplomacy, and Communications. They are also able to choose a picture to represent their country, and a name for their country.[/q]

You need 51% or 6 out of the 10 members within a kingdom to create a quorum to get things done.

Maybe the answer is the ability to move to a different kingdom or a greater number of people within a kingdom, i.e. 20 members versus 10 as it is now.

Macfive?

The problem is, that's not what you typed the first time. What you wrote was:
QUOTE

Those are very different statements. In the original, you say you haven't heard back from them. In the second, you say you have heard back from them. I based my initial response on the information you had provided me with at that time. You're even contradicting yourself- in one line, you state the people aren't heard from again. In the other, you state that they claim they're not playing.
Do you see where some confusion might come from this?

Leaving would be one option, or you could go with a rather less drastic option:
When something that someone writes can be interpreted in more than one way, don't automatically assume they meant it the "rude way."
Over the past 20+ years, I've seen literally hundreds of flame-wars start over the recipient of a comment interpreting it in a way other than the writer meant. The best thing to do is to keep a few things in mind as you write and read:
1) tone and inflection can not be readily conveyed through text
2) this is an international community. What's considered polite in one area may be considered rude in another. Don't automatically assume the writer meant it to be rude.
Have no doubts that if I wanted to be rude to you, it would be perfectly clear.

I don't think anyone is being rude, why woud you think that. I reviewed the posts above and they are being very helpful to you in answering your question.

Repeat question.. OWNERS OF THE GAME

Writing in all caps is generally considered to be "yelling."
Yelling at people is usually considered rude.
If rude was not your intention, for emphasis you can one or more of the following:
[ b ]bold[ /b ] written without the spaces besides the brackets becomes: bold
[ u ]underline[ /u ] --> underline
[ i ]italic[ /i] --> italic
Hopefully this can help prevent future occurances of "unintended rudeness". smile.gif
