"I am a Canadian by birth, but I am a Highlander by blood and feel under an obligation to do all I can for the sake of the Highlanders and their literature.... I have never yet spoken a word of English to any of my children. They can speak as much English as they like to others, but when they talk to me they have to talk in Gaelic."
-Alexander Maclean Sinclair of Goshen (protector of Gaelic Culture)
I'd like to thank the Academy, and all the little people, without whom this achievement wouldn't have been possible... What? I'm sorry, I didn't hear you. What did you say?
(Long pause)
Sorry, wrong speech.
I'd like to thank MacFive for all his hard work in keeping this site going. I'd also like to say I've met some really nice folks here. I listen to HR for the music. I hang around the forums because of the people who post here. I'm glad to know all of you, and hope we can continue this for a long time to come.
BTW, it should also be noted that Shamalama quietly passed 1000 posts and is currently somewhere around 1100. Congratulations, my friend.

Congrats, gtrplr!
