I am from Greece actually and I don't speak any celtic language so if anyone could translate the following phrases I would be grateful ; -I am what I am -I am who I am -I don't belong to this world Thank you anyway!!! |

I'm only a student of Welsh, yet our board has died for all practical purposes, so I'll give it a try. -I am what I am Yr hyn ydw, ydw -I am who I am Pwy ydw, ydw -I don't belong to this world Dydw i ddim yn perthyn i'r byd hwn. |

I could use some help too. I got a tattoo in February. It is a way to remember my grandmother and how close I was to her. I want to say, 'I love you and miss you' around it. I want the wording to be the way a child would say it to a grandparent. I want it to be correct not just something I found a website. Thanks in advance. |

Helo Faerydreamer, I hope you won't think you're ignored by a lack of response. The fact is I wouldn't dare give you a translation for your use in case I make a mistake being a learner myself. I suspect Antwn feels the same way. Welsh Learners (yahoo group) is a good place to ask. There's a native speaker who kindly answers questions. |

Yes I agree. Tatoos are permanent - not a good place for a mistake. Gwen's suggestion is a good one. |

Thank you very much anyway. I do appreciate your honesty and wish not to give me an incorrect translation. This does mean a lot to me and I do want it to be correct. I will check out that Yahoo group. |
