Our yougest was tagged with "Doodle Bug", as a very young child (long story). Now it has been shortened to "buggy-boy". His older brother has always been "the big guy", even though his younger brother is now bigger than him!

I have a friend that I call Humper, and it’s not because he has a hump on his back.

My friends-nothing I can say here censored.gif angel_not.gif nono.gif shutup.gif wink.gif

When they were babies, my sister's kids were called "Big cheeks" because their cheeks were so big and cute. Also, when they got fussy they were called Miss or Mister Crankypants.

Had a buddy of mine that we referred to as an "egg suckin' dawg." Now wouldn't that be a lovely moniker to carry around all of your life!

One of our sons is Joel. He got tagged as "dodle" by a sib that could not pronounce his name! We can be a strange bunch tongue.gif !

Hum...I had to think on this one...I seem to use the phrase "Sugar-buns" a lot to no one in particular and my kids are always mystified since "Mom, you just keep making up words".... So apparently, I don't tag my kids or sisters with just one name but keep making up new ones as I see fit! I do seem to call my son "Buddy Boy" now that I think on it..."Love Bucket" is another one I use. "Dingle-dorf" is one I use while driving...G-rated for kids in car...Now that I am putting some thought into this...I am realizing I do use a lot of made up words...oh well...must be my creative outlet!! laugh.gif

The only nicknames in my family were that of my youngest brother Philip. He went by Phyllis when we were teasing him. His buddies called him Funky Phil (I have no clue where it came from sorry) but Funky still sticks today.

A man that I met a few years ago had the nickname of SLABBER....

And he is a Funeral Director!!!!

There are a lot of pple in Clinton MA with all sorts of nicknames. It is a big Irish community, and some of the ones that I have heard are "Steamer", "Lumpy," "Flounder," and "Crawdad," to name a few.

The pple in this big Irish community seem to come up with a nickname for everyone!!!
