Yes! Eddi Reader, especially with the Burns CD, does things for me:) and Steeleye Span, first time I saw them "live" was 30+ years ago, I will never forget it, absolutely fantastic, and very LOUD! a memory I will treasure!!!
Since I really don't trust youtube quite enough to be a member yet I'll just post the link for this. This is the Swedish drumline at the Edinburgh Tattoo. Bit long but well worth it.
Almost makes me want to break out the sticks again.
Not Swedish, Switzerland but who cares, awesome video!!!
Thanks for slipping the video in there. I registered at youtube but my life is just not exciting enought to start a blog jus t so I can post videos. Feel free to change my little finds. Trying to find some Ceili Rain videos other than theri website, especially "Jumping out of my own Skin" video. Sheila Walsh is just as elusive.

Yes, feel free to post links to the video and we will format them so they show right up in the forum. I agree, this is a good thread to view Celtic music videos. They are so hard to find in one place!
Very cool. Theis band is one of our families favorites. They come up to our area each year for a folk festival and then they were at Irishfest in Milwaukee for the last two? years. I highly recommend them especially the Live at Big Top Chatauqua CD. Our favorite untill they release their version of Bruce Springsten's "Freedom" on CD
Dear Lord, lest I continue in my complacent ways, help me to remember that someone died for me today. And if there be war, help me to remember to ask and to answer "am I worth dying for?" - Eleanor Roosevelt
The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of folly is to fill the world with fools. -- Herbert Spencer, English Philosopher (1820-1903)
I was browsing the celtic stuff on Youtube (as usual) when I came across this. I don't know who the singer is but I do know that the song (in gaelic) is fantastic. And the singer doesn't hurt the old eyes either.
