I was thinking about this after reading Aon Daonnna's thread (hope you don't mind!!)
How would you describe spirituality to someone. Be it visual or what have you.
As for myself I would describe it as hearing my husband tell me that he loves me and can't picture his life without me. Just the feeling of pure love, joy, and contentment.
What can I say I'm a hopeless romantic!!

Some men are drawn to oceans, they cannot breathe unless the air is scented with a salty mist. Others are drawn to land that is flat, and the air is sullen and is leaden as August. My people were drawn to mountains- Earl Hamner Jr.
The feeling of the final touch on art, the orgasm in the coupling of 2 people that love one another, the Love in the meaningful relationships, the opening of a flower, the sense of awe at something bigger than ones self as if seeing a skyscraper for the first time. the wind that blows across an open field of golden wheat, the first ray of sunshine that breaks over the Earth, the first cry of a newborn baby, the quickening kicks of the child in the womb....could go on hehe but will hold off. Everything is Spiritual!
I know when I'm out on the mountain top in the highlands of Scotland I feel very small in this world...
I am amazed at how much beauty in this world is around me and I feel so lucky to live and breathe and experience it.
What I do and say are no longer important and I like it...I don't have to matter in this world...I don't have to make my mark on this world or on anyone else...I't alright for me just to live and take it all in.
The mountains are so peaceful...it really can give you an attitude adjustment on life and what is really important, like our mates, family, and friends....and while we are here I'll try to remember those things first.... everything else is nice but not really so important...
I don't "see" my spirituality any more than I see my breath go in and out, view electrical impulses flashing through my nervous system or see the blood circulating through my body. Like my physical, emotional and mental processes, the spritual processes are an integral part of my being. It takes all four of those different yet related aspects to be "me".

"You can't run with the big dogs if you still pee like a puppy".
Spirituality is life and live is spirituality. Everything that is natural is spirituely. Trees, deers, humans, water, earth, air, fire, stones...... Spirituality is the essence of my beeing and the sum of my life I live and the lives I once lived. (That´s the first that came in my mind)
Spirituality is not a thing. It is life. You must live it. I agree that on top of a mountain (not in Scotland tho) I feel insignificant in the scheme of things. Everything is glorious.
I am impressed by everyone's profound statements here. too grand!!
