HI my name is Chris "Nightbird" Childs. I found this site through Celtic Radio, and I'm having fun looking around. I'm a Folk Singer/Songwriter in Pennsylvania, U.S. I LOVE Celtic music, as well as American Folk/Blues.
Hello chrischilds and a warm welcome! Nice website you have. I hope you enjoy the music here. The people here are really wonderful. I will be looking forward to hearing from you.
We sure do need some warm air up here in PA. It was around 9 degrees when I came inside at 9pm. This is the kind of weather that makes you not want to leave the house.
We are so glad you found us here! I thin you'll find that some of the nicest people to be found anywhere on the net are rgith here! We love to chat, and the music is nice too! So kick off your shoes, turn up the music and have fun! When you joined this place you didn't just join a net group, you became a member of our family! So come back and visit with us often!
Again we are so glad you are here! Welcome home, my friend!

Hi everyone, glad I found your site! I just stumbled across it while I was working late last night looking for graphics. I was trying to get my mind off school, and I found you all and the great music. What great stress relief for an overworked student!... Ah, serendipity! So, to introduce myself, I am a 1/2 Scots-Irish overworked-underpaid graduate student in Texas (with 2 cats). That says it all, right? Looking forward to getting to know you folks
I am so glad you decided to pop into our little corner of the net! In my opinion you'll not find a nicer bunch of people anywhere on the web! So kick off your shoes, turn up the music and get ready to have some fun chats with your new family!
Thanks everyone for the hellos! I'm sure I'll have a lot of fun getting to know you! I just checked in to surf through some of the other boards before I have to get to work today. (Groans) Now begins my 24 hours of teaching for the week. Freshman and chemicals do not mix well with others argh!
Welcome Ivy and Chrischilds, I'm glad you decided to post. I hope to see you both around on the forums! Cheers

I'm from Germany (Munich) and my English isn't that good as it should be. Sitting here with a thick dictionary on my knees and looking up almost every third word.
I'm addicted to Scotland and everything Celtic since I visited this country the first time. Two years ago I've got married in Fort William.
My husband and I never felt at home this way in any other country we've visited. It was a weird feeling and I've regretted my lack of a sufficient vocabulary.
Everyone was so patient and helpful!
Listening to celticradio brings up the memories of the wonderful landscape, the very special people we've met and the great time we've had during our honeymoon.
It's curious, but I'm able to concentrate on my work while listening to bagpipers. There must be one ancient scotish cell living in my heart.
Well done, Seana! Your English is very good! We would love to help you practice it! CelticRadio is a wonderful place filled with nice people and excellent music! You are part of our family now, so come back and visit with us often! I am so glad that you found us here!
Welcome home, my friend!
