Heyas, folks. I appologise if my 'Testing the Waters' comes off wrong. I wanted to know what people would think of a piece of my poetry, and I knew that if I used my normal login to post it, then that would carry whatever reputation I've built here right along with it. Having it drop into oblivion so quickly gives me the impression I'm going to need something to bring life back into Celtic Hearts.
I'll have to come up with something, but in the meantime, Let me ask what people think of recieving feedback. Personally, I like the good and the bad, and I want people to be brutally honest. If it sucks worse than Byron fighting writer's block then tell me, and if you can, tell me why you think so. I can't know where to improve if I don't know where I'm failing. Also, if you like it, tell me what you like. Please! That way I know you're not trying to make me feel good, and I also can learn what people might like about my writing. I also try to follow this when giving feedback. If I can't extrapolate on my first impressions, I either won't give them or will at least state that I can't extrapolate on it.
How do you folks think of giving or recieving feedback on something you created?
