I hate to hear the crickets ,, see the days getting shorter.. BUT there is still time to enjoy the most charming of all the garden guests ! I hope you will invite these charmers into your garden.. Even if just for a wee bit, till it is time for them to fly to warmer cliimes..
Most of my hummers left around the 1st of Sept. I still have one hangin' around. He better get his but in gear and head for the southlands. I have a honeysuckle vine that is still blooming and I see him every morning flittin' around, sippin the nectar that he loves. I really wish he would move on. I don't like the thought of him not making it home!
Hi maggie & Arianhod...Happy fall... Well we are down to pretty much just sparrows and squirrels.. The squirrels are taking over... I still have some plants living that are in pots and are suppose to die back..
