We are excited to announce that the Wicked Tinkers have sent us their brand new, just released album - Whiskey Supper - Almost Live!!!

The Wicked Tinkers have always been one of our favorite bagpipe groups and their 5th album really drives that home with a energized live concert that will have you wanting to hear more! A few excellent tracks on here are not just bagpipes, but vocals - really good!

From their website:

"WHISKY SUPPER, our fifth CD, is ALMOST LIVE and the companion to BANGER FOR BREAKFAST. We have found that our live recordings seem to really capture who we are, musically and dynamically. On this recording, we had Tyler Spencer re-record the didgeridoo parts in the studio - hence ALMOST LIVE. We are an interactive band; we try to engage with our audiences so an instrument or two might get quieter or louder at some points. Don?t worry, one or another of us is probably playing on someone?s table or having a quick ?beverage? in the middle of a set. While you may hear the odd slip here or there, with this recording, you?ll feel the energy of our live show! "

Bless their hearts, they sent me one too for our local (and shockingly inferior) celtic broadcast.

They are a really a great group of guys. I have heard nothing but nice things about the Wicked Tinkers. A few years back they played at my daughter's dance camp and I also here they can be found roaming around Disney World and Epcot playing their pipes and drums. Lord knows if Disney pays them or if they just do this on their own! biggrin.gif
