Poem/Ramblings, Harder than I thought!!!!!!!!

Why can't he see that? Why does he have to be so judgemental? Can't he see me for what I am? Doesn't he understand that what happened was for the best? Time is supposed to heal all.....when is it healed? We can't stop it, or repair the damage that was done...... Understanding, communication and honesty... Two out of three wasn't bad, I guess... Honesty is the best policy, though.... We will never be together again, as we once were. Never that close again.. But if he can get past the fact that I needed to move on.. Maybe, just maybe..... we can be friends??????? -------------------- ]AN EXCERPT FROM A POEM THAT I WROTE ON 10/11/07 WE CAN'T CHANGE WHAT WE HAVE DONE.... BUT ONLY TAKE A LESSON FROM EACH EXPERIENCE AND MAKE THE MOST OF EACH MINUTE THAT WE HAVE LEFT AND TELL OURELVES THAT IT IS OK TO LIVE, LAUGH AND CRY..... PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE ALL WORK TOGETHER TO GIVE US WHAT WE CAN AND SHOULD EXPERIENCE AND WE NEED TO CHERISH ALL OF THE TIME THAT WE SPEND WITH OURSELVES AND OTHERS MAKING THE MOST OF THE SPECIAL MEMORIES THAT ARE OURS.. AND THE ONES THAT WE HAVE YET TO CREATE WITH THE PEOPLE THAT WE HAVEN'T MET!!!!![/SIZE]

Sometimes they are slower than we need Time makes us wait for the special things....... The ones that understand us are to be treasured!!!! The ones that are cruel are kicked to the curb! When the sun sets on the day, how many lives have we touched? How many have we turned away? Who has loved us? Who has gone away? All the questions cannot be answered here.... They will be answered in time.... That time for me is getting nearer and nearer.... When I will see my Beloved again!!! I miss him so!!!!!! The time will be short, or long.... Only the fates of time can predict... I hope it is soon... But then again, don't I have much more to do?

I want to remember the good times, and forget the bad....and all of the fun times we had... Why did it have to end? When will I see you again? Somedays it is hard to go on... And I cry and cry until the dawn... Make it easy... Tell me that you love me... Show me every day... Thank god you have sent someone to watch over me... A compassionate one...until we meet at the gate.. Will you be waiting for me?

But away, not forever, I will see Dan someday... Two years it has been, seems such a long time... Many have come and gone since then.. Some have stayed to see my pain... Some have vanished from the scene.. Then....into my life comes true love again.. Without judgement, with understanding...caring and knowledge.. He can make me see the light again... And keep me as his own...until Dan and I will meet again.. Forever... Such a long time.... Whenever it ends...I will know that there is true love... And I have had it twice....
