Leenieww, I will DEFINITELY be praying for you. It seems like there are a lot of brain things going on - there are about half a dozen people that I know who are facing some sort of "problem" with the brain. Keep us posted.
On a brighter note, I hope you have a wonderful trip to Scotland. I am a bit jealous since I have never been there and would love to go some day. I have been to Ireland though.

Hi Everyone! Hope your day is going well. Mine had a bit of a disaster. My dog got sick all over the floor both ends and it too me two hours to clean it up. He got into some old chicken that I was throwing away. Needed to clear the freezer for buffalo. Anyhow guess that one of the prices you pay for owning a dog.

gwenlee I am glad Sarah is doing well. I think about that a lot. I hope you enjoyed your day off.

Hi JP good to se ya! Hows your Son doing?

Haynes, I hope that you will enjoy your concert. Let us know..

Oh, leenieww you've been through a lot. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Keep Th Faith! When you do go to Scotland I will wanna see lots of pics and stories ok. I have Meneries which cause you to go into dizzy spells and ya stumble around it's not fun. Ya feel like your on a fair ride or somthing.

Pamela Good luck with you intervies.

Robert I am so glad your father In Law is ok. I bet your puppy is really cute. You gonna show us pictures? Good luck on your research paper. Let us know how you do.
You got to go up to Duluth and see Enter The Haggis. I never made it to Duluth it was South East from where I lived in Minneapolis so I never made it up there. I wanted to see Lake Superior next time may be.

Well have a great week everyone. NO Matter what!!!!!

Hello Everyone,
Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers.

Rindy.. The last specialist I saw thought that I had Meniere's Disease. It wasn't until they did a MRI that they saw the tumor. I have felt like I have been on a fair ride for months now. What a mess you had today! It may have done damage to your carpet but hopefully no lasting damage to your dog.

Robert...The band I'm going with are a great bunch of guys..I've spent a lot of time with these guys so I already know how much fun we're going to have!

band.gif Here's an idea... Why don't you hold a contest for all of us...Name The Puppy. You could pick the best suggestion or not. Good luck with the papers.

Gwyn...thank you...I won't be in poor health for the trip, maybe just dizzy...that will never go away...just got to get used to it. I've been to England but this will be my first time in Scotland. Really looking forward to it.

Everyone have a wonderful and safe weekend.

Hi leenieww, I am sure you'll have great fun in Scotland and keep the spirit.

That's a fun idea "Name the Puppy". What do you think Robert? And by the way good luck with all your typing.

Hi Rindy, did you know that chicken can kill a dog? That's a vetenarian who told me that at the time when I had dogs. One of them hate chicken and got sick too but it's not the meat that could be deadly it's the bones because he said, when the dog bites the bones they snap in sharp pieces in is stomach and can pierce the bowels and the animal can die from it.
Imagine...never gave him any chicken after that.

Gwyn...where is that chocolate without sugar recipe ?

Have a great week-end all.LOA

I'll take any suggestions for puppy names. I'll post when we decide on one.

Robert, how about something silly like Dr. Frankenweiner for your doxy? tongue.gif If you call him "Doc" for short, everyone will just think dachshund.

Lady of Avalon, My sister is diabetic and has a fudge recipe that she makes that has no sugar in it. I will have to get a copy of it and post it for you. When you taste it, you would not know that it had no sugar in it. She does a lot of the same things that I do with chocolate, but with no sugar. Yeah, I'll get the recipe for you.

Rindy - the story about your dog reminds me of the one about our Scottish Terrier or as my little 3 year old nephew says - Scots terrorist. MY dog got into a package of Pepper/Jack cheese - about a pound of the stuff. Well, I don't have to tell you what those peppers almost did to her.I asked the vet what to do and he said that make sure she drinks plenty of water and eats her regular food. She managed to survive, even though she whined for a while.

Hello Everyone,

Okay I don't believe this myself...but, after I posted my message here yesterday about Robert's puppy, I talked to my daughter. Anyone care to guess what her fiance is getting her for Christmas. A Dachshund puppy! Going to go pick one out today. Unless she changes her mind, she is planning on naming it ...Oscar, cause it's a Wiener dog. laugh.gif

Have been up since 2:30 this morning or should I say, middle of the night. Had another test done at St. Louis. Good thing about the early morning trip..I was back home about noon. Really, Really getting tired of that place.

Could use some fun but my band friends are on the road...

Gwyn... my father-in-law is also diabetic...I would appreciate that recipe too.

Happy Weekend everyone! biggrin.gif

Hi everyone. My dog is doing well. He is still out until I am sure all is well. lol. He doesn’t quite understand and he doesn’t like it at all. He has a nice fluffy bed in a garage with a heater...he is spoiled rotten is what I think.

jpmoore Happy Birthday to your son on Saturday! What a wonderful accomplishement!! You raised them up..way to go!

leenieww as long as I take my meds I don’t suffer the dizziness as much. It is a terrible feeling. Your in my thoughts and prayers. That is really great about your daughter getting a new puppy. And a great name, I hope she finds the perfect one. As far as the kilt thread I am sure someone will help you with that. I will keep my eyes open as I am pretty sure I read it on the this site. Your not imagining things...

I am sure someone will be able to help you out as there's many sites out there. Robert I think Doc would be a perfect name! The names of the two I had growing up were..Poco and Cosmo..have no idea why....lol..

Lady Of Avalon Thanks for the information on the chicken bones. I had heard that but never knew why. Luckily it was the boneless- the entire bag for a little Schipperke.

Gwyhhwyvar My Dad has had Scotties most of his life. They are such a nice dog. The last one he rescued from a shelter. I can’t imagine how that poor dog must of felt after eating that hot cheese.. I am glad she survived and it alright.

Wishing you all a safe and fun weekend

Hello everyone!

I'm here at my parents' house again! I'm kinda tired right now. I was pulling out their Christmas stuff from the crawlspace in the basement. I'm not gonna even think about putting my Christmas decorations up until after Thanksgiving.

I was supposed to come over yesterday, but I was sick. I puke.gif (luckily I was in the bathroom at the time), put a bucket next to my bed and went back to sleep.

Leenieww I believe the kilt post you are looking for is under the General Discussion section-For the ladies-kilt advice.

Hope everyones weekend has gone ok. Mike..I hope you are feeling better. To be sick on the weekend..how awful.
Thank you Robert for looking for that kilt post I was looking for, but the one you found was the topic I started. I don't know where I saw the other one. Don't even know if the heading said anything about kilts. I'm kicking myself for not writing the web sites down.
Haven't told any of you but found out a few weeks ago , we're going to be grandparents.. Saw the ultrasound last night of "Peanut". Baby is due about the middle of June. So if it comes early could hit my husbands birthday and if it comes late could fall on our anniversary and our sons birthday.
I'm having the sleep-deprived test on Tuesday morning, so I will be awake from Monday morning until they are down with me on Tuesday. Don't know how I will keep myself awake all tomorrow night. I may spend a lot of time on this site. Maybe you all can tell how sleepy I'm getting by how well I'm writing. laugh.gif
The 2 hours going to the hospital are gonna be hard. I'll look like one of those bobbled head dolls. blink.gif
Just ignore any lunatic ramblings I may do at 3 AM tomorrow night.
