Okay, one of the things I'm giving this Christmas season is an MP3 player for my dad, and I need to know of some ones that are capable of being turned on and pressing the play button to get them to play. No fooling with menus, no making of a playlist first. This is going to be given to my dad who's 50 and now has to deal with using a BlackBerry so I think he would appreciate not having to shuffle through menus just to listen to tunes.

It also has to be fairly robust too, as this MP3 player is going to be used in combination with a cassette adapter in his Verizon work van so it has to be able to take a licking without breaking.

I've also heard about the iPod Shuffles, they've really gone down in price as of late, and my brother has one. What do you think Aaediwen?
