Gold, Real Value Currency

Just a reminder and note about the Gold you earn while playing Medieval Kingdom.

That gold will have real value on CelticRadio.net in the form of an online auction and also the ability to upgrade your account to enhanced or premium status.

We havn't defined all of the criteria yet, but will be shortly and building the online auction system.

We will be taking a close look at the Gold distribution and how it will play into the auction.

My first thought is someone could not play the game and just start accumulating Gold and make out well in an auction. So we will be looking at that and see how we can make sure it is fair.

I'm not exactly clear and sure on how you score points, still. But maybe diverifying that a little bit and giving credit for "time in service"...like experience points.

Paul, what if someone who doesn't "play the game" for a week, without going into holiday mode, has an amount equal to a full distribution share subtracted from his/her accumulated total every hour until they do play again or are completely "broke". Perhaps the handicap doesn't have to be that harsh, but some arrangement of that type would certainly allow only those playing the game to benefit.

I think a 'small' handicap is a good idea....unless of course you are on holiday mode. Also, you would need to come up with when a handicap would start. As we all know, sometimes it is a few days before you can actually find the time to get back on....

or the day before, due to packing and getting things done tooo

I'm really going to have to stop assigning my workers and building my army up and guard towers and stuff because I have no gold for these auctions. Guess i'm just going to have to attack people and take theirs haha j/k I've been peaceful for almost a week now you people should be happy
