Oh Scot from Carolina, do I like your picture or what? Why can't Christmas last all the year long?

Compassion is the sometimes fatal capacity for feeling what it is like inside somebody else's skin. It is the knowledge that there can never really be any peace and joy for me until there is peace and joy finally for you too. - Frederick Buechner
If society prospers at the expense of the intangibles, how can it be called progress?
Why is it our older brothers and sisters always complain that we are and always have been spoiled? Did we choose to be born last in a family? Would we have it any other way? I wouldn't, would you?
Don't you think that being the youngest means being spoiled? Didn't you like being the "baby"? Don't you think that the youngest kids were the ones that got it easier because the oldest got all the trama? Didn't you like that it was a crisis with them and a phase for you?

Can you see me laughing? Did we ask to be born last? Are we gonna have fun with it whenever we can? Does it really make a difference after we're all grown up? Does the youngest ever really grow up? Was Peter Pan the youngest?
