All you lads n' lassies who got pm's, you know what to do here. king.gif

Liriel, for some reason I couldn't pm you. This is the jist of the message.

This is just a way of finding out who's going to be posting and who's not. If you're still up for the story, post in the thread for Weeding out the cast.

I'm with ya, and I'll be here till the end.

Oh BTW does anyone have a shovel? unsure.gif biggrin.gif

Which story? Coruscant? or the other (don't know what it is called)?
I'm up for Coruscant.

Posted by: oldraven 24-Jun-2004, 03:45 PM
Oh, this is for Highlander Castle. Coruscant isn't far enough along to worry about cutting out dead characters. smile.gif

*jumps in a backhoe and helps unbury MacE*

I never doubted it for a minute, Angelina. laugh.gif

*supervises the excavation* wink.gif Hey, I'm a bird. I can't dig.

Posted by: Highlander 26-Jun-2004, 07:23 AM
The Highlander is still raring to dig, lets go

Posted by: 3Ravens 26-Jun-2004, 12:29 PM
Life has been kindsa funny lately, so far as posting time goes....I'd LIKE to keep on posting, but no garentees....I seem to have become the sole support for 4 adults, one baby in utero, one big dumb dog, lots of cats, and a mortgage.....requires overtime and such.....you guys decide whether you can live with that, and let me know something.

(Oldraven, I bet the prosthetics guy at my hospital could figure out how to modify a shovel for a bird) tongue.gif

Posted by: oldraven 26-Jun-2004, 02:11 PM
If God had meant for Ravens to dig, he'd have given them arms. laugh.gif No need to mess with the natural order of things.

I just heard from Miri, everybody! w00t1.gif

She's had a baby boy, but can't post for some reason. She can send pm's though, so I told her to send me her posts and I'll put them up for her.

Later cats. biggrin.gif

eek I'm here

Posted by: oldraven 28-Jun-2004, 07:51 AM
Yes, her pm's seem to be working fine. She got the same message on HC that you all did, and replied to me. She just can't get any posts to stick to any threads. *shrugs*

I think she'd love to hear the congrats from each of you. king.gif

QUOTE
I can still read but atm I hardly have the time to check pm's.. nevermind writing RP posts! I drove down my activity on my other RP projects alot as well.

My wee one is called Daniel and was born on the 7th. He is a gem and a very quiet child but even though he wants to be fed very often which means I have my hands full of child rather than anything else.
Also we are about to move to our new flat where we don't have a phoneline and no internet access as yet. I hope we'll manage to get everything sorted very soon..

Tell MacErca I'm sorry that I wasn't able to reply to him but my son wants to be fed..

Cheerio

Ok. It's been a week. Miri can't post, so the Cat-woman is gone. The wolves were with us when those girls last posted, so they're dead too. Aaediwen, you haven't posted with your Grungahn hating lady in a while, should we take her out too?

So, that's it. Three for sure and one maybe. Plus Mac, who we all think is dead. Aaed, please let me know about........... what's her name. unsure.gif

I'm doing good if I post anything right now. feel free to post for me a bit to keep things going. Yes, might get her out of the picture. Perhaps not dead though. just seperated somehow... Disappears. I like leaving options open.

I have just had to remove the Highlander from the cast for what I hope will just be a short amount of time. Due to business and life constraints I do not have time to continue, but I will return as soon as possible for I really enjoy this RPG, and I did not want to hold up the game by having people wait for me to join in or reply to a given situation. See you soon...

I'm sorry to hear it. sad.gif You are probably the most steady character in this story.

Take care of your business, and come back to us soon. smile.gif

I"m still here and waiting for the right time to jump and and take the Dragon Master to her doom. * grins wickedly*

I don't know why you weren't able to pm me but if you do need to reach me just email me at [email protected]

I usually check the forum everyday unless I'm out of town or on a mission for work.

Hey guys! So is Highlander Castle dead? crybaby.gif I really hope not!! I'm able to post again!!

Please come back sad.gif (tear)

Posted by: oldraven 10-May-2005, 01:17 PM
HC has faded to nothing since one of our main players.......... left. I think we're all pretty much at a loss as to how we can pick up from there. sad.gif

But there are always adventures to be had. smile.gif

Posted by: Celeste 10-May-2005, 03:56 PM
but the spoiled, whiney, non cooking, brat was gonna come back!!! crybaby.gif
Oh well how bout we start another adventure with the same characters, minus you know who?

Posted by: Aaediwen 10-May-2005, 05:22 PM
There have been others started, with different storylines. Personally, however, I've not cinvinced myself I'm up for another one after HC died...

Posted by: oldraven 10-May-2005, 08:15 PM
If someone has any ideas, go to it. I'm not really high on time these days.

Posted by: Celeste 11-May-2005, 07:57 AM
OR- is everything ok?

Posted by: oldraven 11-May-2005, 08:39 AM
Oh, everything's alright. I'm just stretched a little thin lately. And the stress levels are sky high.

[-----]
this much sleep

[---------------------------------------]
this much worry

The baby's five days passed due, so once that finally comes around, I'm sure life will be a little simpler. Ah, who am I kidding. It's like stretching before the big marathon of parenthood.

Posted by: Celeste 16-May-2005, 12:17 PM
OR- everything will be fine. Once the baby come the worring will still be there, but it will be a different kind of worry. Hows momma holdin up?

Posted by: oldraven 06-Aug-2009, 08:25 PM
I just had to stir this one up again. wink.gif I spent the last couple of days re-reading this RPG, which was a reawakening for me. I hadn't written anything before this for at least four years, and then I found myself immersed in such an addictive storyline as we had. I don't really know why I'm posting in here, except to say that I enjoyed doing this so much, and I loved the way the characters were progressing (mostly). The story was starting to take on some really great plot-lines, or at least the promises of them. Such a shame. Can you guys believe this was really FIVE years ago?!? Five years! Man, that went by to damn fast.

Anyway, I just want to thank everyone one last time for being such a big part of this very exciting time in my life, where I rediscovered the love of writing, and immersing myself in characters and worlds one could only dream up, not to mention the amount that I learned from this exercise. Och, too many Newcastles. I'm getting a bit sentimental over this.
