For the life of me I don't know how long ago I left the Forum but my guess is a least 6 or 7 + years. The way my memory works sometime it is more than likely longer.

I continued working as the Manager/Superintendent at the apartment building and on New Years Eve 2012 at 5:30 P.M. had my third and strongest Heart Attack and was rushed to Emerg. I ended up having a stint put in one of my blood vessels in my heart. One good thing this time was that after 56 years of smoking I quit for good and it has now been 15 months without sucking on a cancer stick.
I also became a Grandfather as my oldest Daughter and her Hubby adopted a 12 year old boy . I have some mixed emotions about him as he is not blood but he is a good kid and has joined the Air Cadets and already been promoted to LAC (Leading Air Cadet).

In June of 2013 it was decided (reluctantly on my part) that I retire . Both my Bosses and my daughters said it was time. So kicking and screaming I retired and now live in a Seniors apartment building in the neighboring town of Burlington.

I wondered what happened to you. Not much happening here at CR.net. Pretty much a ghost town now... sad.gif
I am rarely here if at all anymore.

It is good to have you back camac, yes the forums are slower then before but that is because people leave insted of posting to keep it going. I have been here over 10 years and plan to try and keep these forums going. There is more to CR then the forums if you look around.
Good news on not smoking any more, I stopped 31 years ago and it makes a difference.

I'm just reading your post, camac... I 'm very sorry about your heart attack but inthe same time I'm so joyous that this is resolved in the best way. You're ok. now and this is the most important thing... for the rest,I think that if you'retired from your profession isn't a trouble as it looks... You have so many interests and a (I suppose) big wonderful family : You will be so busier than before! You will not have a minute for boring yourself, actually I think that you will not have a free minute biggrin.gif

All the Best cheers.gif
